About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Defining, architecting, and developing complex software for hardware devices
2. Implementing control and feedback mechanisms, like derivative control (PID) or schedules
3. Reviewing schematics, PCB board designs, reading component datasheets, and debugging digital hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or similar tools
4. Collaborating with other engineers in developing test plans and quality control procedures

Added requirements

1. Experience developing firmware for embedded processors as well as software for embedded Linux systems, e.g. embedded C, C++, ESP-IDF, RTOS, etc.

2. Software and hardware comms using embedded data bus protocols UART, USART, I2C, SPI, and digital interfaces like USB.

3. Capable of defining, architecting, and developing complex software for hardware devices

4. Familiar with implementing control and feedback mechanisms, like derivative control (PID) or schedules

5. Comfortable reviewing schematics, PCB board designs, reading component datasheets, and debugging digital hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or similar tools

6. Competent in collaborating with other engineers in developing test plans and quality control procedures

7. Bonus points if you have experience working with Python, bash scripting, and build tools
