If embedded firmware development is the thing that you love to do for a whole day, this is the opportunity for you. As an embedded firmware development intern, you will be working on firmware development for power electronics drives and motor drives applications. You will have the opportunity to work on live projects, see the hardware development cycle, and engage with cross-functional teams. You will be able to learn and enhance your knowledge about embedded systems and power electronics.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Develop embedded firmware for traction motor drives
2. Work on the selection of MCUs/DSP(STM32) and program embedded processors using C and embedded C language to make use of ADC/DAC/PWM/GPIO modules, and communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART) and embedded standards
3. Design and implement a protection algorithm
4. Test the firmware on the development board with hardware, debugger, analysis using an oscilloscope, and data logger in a lab environment
5. Collaborate with the hardware team for prototype development and testing
