About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on system and microprocessor architecture
2. Work on circuit design, logic design, and functional verification
3. Work on physical design & layout, signal integrity, and analysis
4. Handle microelectronics packaging
5. Engage in materials analysis and characterization
6. Integrate mechanical design and technology
7. Assist in thermal design & testing
8. Work on voltage regulation and power delivery
9. Work on processor and system test and validation
10. Analyze and evaluate company requirements, initial BoM creation, and component selection accordingly with consideration of costs, schedule, platform, quality, etc.
11. Observe and analyze the latest technology trends, definition of next-generation key components together with other technical division, and key component suppliers
12. Coordinate with different functional teams such as controlling, legal, purchasing, manufacturing engineering, quality, and customer business units

Added requirements

1. Should have the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and datasheets

2. Should be able to use integrated development environments (IDE), such as Keil & Visual Studio

3. Should be able to use test equipment, such as the oscilloscope, digital multi-meter, etc.

4. Should understand how to develop PCB layouts for digital, analog, and power supply circuits on multilayer PCBs

5. Should have the knowledge of PCB manufacturing tools such as Valor, SAP, and GerbTool software

6. Should have the basic understanding of electrical schematic symbols and functions
