Embedded Systems (Hardware & Software) Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

Software:
1. Designing and implementing software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment
2. Designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging the system software
3. Reviewing the code and design
4. Analyzing and enhancing efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources
5. Integrating and validating new product designs
6. Supporting software QA and optimizing I/O performance
7. Providing post-production support
8. Interfacing with hardware design and development
9. Assessing third-party and open-source software

Hardware:
1. Developing hardware-specific drivers and other routines that allow the RTOS to function in our SOC architecture - design and develop BSP framework software
2. Developing state-of-the-art BSP/devices and drivers for modem and bringing up new hardware platforms
3. Reviewing HW schematics and assist HW debugging
4. Supporting factory testing and resolving critical issues on-site
5. Performing modem SW integration
6. Stabilizing the baseline (most software will be written in C and will run on a range of ARM and DSP-based processors)
