About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work with communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, TCP/IP, WLAN, etc.
2. Handle wireless communication technologies like BLE and WIFI
3. Work on cross-platform development build tools like Eclipse, Visual Studio, Keil, etc.
4. Working with Embedded C to develop and debug the embedded software
5. Developing embedded device drivers
6. Creating and maintaining technical documentation
7. Testing embedded software

Note: The intern will actively participate as a team member of RMI mirroring the position of a full-time employee in that department. Responsibilities will include specific assignments and/or projects that will contribute to a practical, experiential learning environment in an assigned area of our business.

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 4th Aug'21 and 8th Sep'21

3. are available for duration of 6 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Added requirements

1. Candidates who have done a B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech degree would be preferred

2. Candidates from Chennai, Tamil Nadu would be preferred

3. Must be skilled in the use of C and C++ language with knowledge of embedded systems

4. Must have knowledge of ARM-based microprocessors

5. Must have strong mathematical and analytical skills

6. Must have an understanding of sensors, motors, and actuators (LCD/LED controllers interfacing)

7. Must be good in documentation and in creating reports

8. Must have knowledge in electronics

9. Must have knowledge of Embedded C programing

10. Must have knowledge of C and C++ programming

11. Must have knowledge of the basic controller architecture
