2. Designing, inspecting, testing and updating electronic systems, components, equipment and software
3. Monitoring processes, systems and staff, and punctually identifying problems
4. Writing specifications, instructions, reports and handling other required administrative duties
5. Debugging and troubleshooting existing firmware and performing root cause analysis
6. Working on the ability to trace difficult problems using a variety of tools (debugger, JTAG emulator, logic analyzer, and oscilloscope)
7. Making performance and optimization trade-offs to meet product requirements
