Makerspace Creators Catalyst is an evolutionary step in design and programming. It is a destination for thinking, learning, doing, creating, producing, and sharing; a space that takes advantage of multiple learning styles. It is a hi-tech digital fabrication and design lab with advanced technologies such as 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, wood and metal studios, urban farming and gardening and co-working workspace. It is a place to reinvent old ideas with new conceptual frameworks, utilize advancements in thinking and doing, and investigate and construct a hybrid of fine arts, sciences, crafts, industrial technologies, inventions, hobbies, service learning, digital media, up-cycling, STEM/STEAM, and DIY concepts. At Creators Catalyst, the intersection of formal and informal learning includes designing, playing, tinkering, collaborating, inquiring, mentoring, experimenting, problem-solving, and inventing.
