We are seeking a highly motivated environmental science intern to assist our team in conducting life cycle assessments (LCA) using Open LCA software. The successful applicant will work closely with our team of environmental scientists to support our clients in understanding and improving the environmental performance of their products and services.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conduct life cycle assessments (LCA) using Open LCA software
2. Collect data from various sources and databases for use in LCA analysis
3. Conduct carbon accounting calculations
4. Support the development of sustainability reports and environmental management plans
5. Provide technical support to clients and internal teams on environmental sustainability issues
6. Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
1. Currently studying MSc in environmental science, and environmental management at a top institution
2. Thorough knowledge of life cycle assessment and carbon accounting
3. Familiarity with Open LCA software
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
