You will be working with clients such as associations and trade bodies on their events and conferences in Bengaluru and New Delhi respectively. This position may require traveling.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Brainstorming and implementing event plans alongside the Head of events.
2. Identify and invite senior industry leaders as per the client's brief via emails and calls.
3. Managing the registration process, including handling online/offline registrations and providing customer service to attendees to ensure they have a positive experience at the conference
4. Working in liaising with the venue, and external vendors to ensure the smooth running of room booking, AV, and catering arrangements.
5. Assisting with marketing the event through newsletters, social media, etc.
6. Assisting with operational activities, such as stage management, and keeping track of the running order on the event day
7. Maintaining and updating the database system
8. Work on assisting in the answering of incoming calls and ensuring that good customer service is delivered in line with company quality standards
9. Work on accurate and effective reporting to the head of events
