1. Work on event planning, design, and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limits
2. Liaise with clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction
3. Conduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing any deals
4. Provide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders
5. Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality
6. Organize facilities and manage all event s details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material, etc.
7. Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
8. Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities
9. Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize the event
VIBHOR - Shimla literature festival is a literary festival like no other! It's a celebration of literature, art, music, poetry, and freedom of expression.
Over the span of 2-days, we will have 24 events and activities. We will feature workshops, book readings, talks, panel sessions, debates, book launches and performances from top Indian and international writers. This literature festival will draw over 80 writers, artists, academics, scholars, publishers from India and abroad each year.
This festival will bring together the best minds in the world of Hindi, English and regional literature from within and outside India. The festival will initiate the conversation between authors, readers, literary agents, publishers, self-pub stars, humanitarians, politicians, sports personalities, and entrepreneurs on varied topics ranging from literature to the changing dynamics of the publishing industry.
