Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Make presentations of new designs
2. Create new designs on CLO 3D and Illustrator for product development
3. Collaborate with the merchandising and marketing teams, focusing on different buyer
4. Create new business opportunities with the new designs for our overseas buyers
5. Make revisions of original artwork in Photoshop to fit different home textiles
6. Contribute to, support, and manage the design process - concept, development, product design, and approval process
7. Shop and research markets on an ongoing basis
8. Prepare mood boards and designs tailored to different buyers after researching them
9. Work with team members to design garments or upcoming seasons for the new brand
10. Assist in technical communication between SCI and buyers regarding design and fitting
11. Provide input to improve SMS sampling
12. Communicate buyers' comments with the production team
13. Develop graphics and prints/CAD recolors

Skills and Experiences:

1. Experience working in a garment export house
2. Fashion experience not limited to designing
3. Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
4. Proficiency in CLO 3D designs is a must
5. Proficiency in CAD is a must
6. Fashion Illustration
7. Knowledge of PLM/Tec packs
8. Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office basic knowledge of marketing
9. Strong sense of silhouette
10. Proficiency in spoken and written English
11. Strong sense of color
12. Should have a creative mind to come up with new designs.
13. Self-motivated and hard working
