Finance & Accounting Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Perform liabilities and clearance accounting in SAP after training, review and process invoices as per GST rules (PAN India)
2. Execute accounting and clearance in SAP FICO and relevant front-end systems such as Canvas, Mice Mantra, iBook, Iconic, Astra, and validate expense workflow in Newgen through finance verification
3. Process and verify payments, including TDS and GST calculations, and handle accounting and clearance tasks
4. Operate SAP FICO for bank payment processes, extract and upload payments in the banking portal, and manage UTE uploads in SAP
5. Handle different modes of payment through banks and online platforms after training
6. Perform and support bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
7. Investigate and resolve discrepancies or outstanding reconciliation items
8. Address and resolve vendor inquiries through PCO, RO Ops teams, or business area FBP teams
9. Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts payable transactions
10. Ensure proper documentation and filing for auditing and compliance purposes
11. Assist in the preparation of accounts payable reports, such as aging and cash flow projection reports
12. Provide support during audits and internal reviews
13. Manage transaction-level audit responsibilities
14. Ensure compliance with SOPs for AP accounting and operational payment processes
15. Comply with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
16. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices
17. Identify and suggest improvements to AP processes and operational efficiency
