Finance Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
2. Document financial transactions by entering account information
3. Summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing a balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
4. Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
5. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
6. Secure financial information by completing database backups
7. Maintain financial security by following internal controls
8. Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
9. Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
10. Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
