About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Managing the day-to-day operations of the accounts department
2. Managing the accounts payable (bill payments, salaries, petty cash etc.) and receivables through cash/cheque/voucher in a timely manner
3. Maintaining and reconciling cash/financial accounts
4. Maintaining spreadsheets for monitoring and analyzing accounting data and preparing financial reports
5. Preparing a table of accounts and assigning entries to proper accounts to ensure proper accounting methods, principles and policies are being followed
6. Enforcing credit control
7. Completing and coordinating annual audits and providing recommendations for improving procedures and systems for initiating corrective actions
8. Allocating cash to and ensuring the direct staff complies with it
