Finance - Solar Power Projects Internship

Selected intern's day to day responsibilities include:

1. Manage relations with private equity players and developing a valuation model for the corporate for raising funds from private equity firms
2. Develop and execute the optimal short and long-term financing strategy of the company, anticipating cash flow needs of the company, and balancing it with available equity and debt options
3. Work on the preparation of PowerPoint presentation of financial models & projections of future revenues of the company
4. Conduct marketing research with in-depth research & market analysis which involves preparing sector presentations and databases on various companies in the power sector
5. Raise debt from banks, negotiate term sheets and agreements, complete the required due diligence
6. Identify and provide regular updates on the trends and the impact of various economic parameters on investment options
7. Build & maintain comprehensive financial models, involving DCF valuations, relative valuation
8. Manage relations with private equity players and develop a valuation model for the corporate for raising funds from private equity firms
9. Track PE deals, QIPs & public issue of similar power sector companies
10. Track valuation of similar power sector companies
11. Gain & maintain business domain expertise, sector presentations, reports & database
12. Carry out cash flow analysis of solar power projects
