About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Working on mobile/HDD extraction
2. Working on Osint
3. CDR analysis
4. Working with real-world cases
5. Working with LEAs and startups in solving cybercrimes
6. Identifying, gaining access and securing any necessary devices or systems to be examined
7. Reconstructing damaged hardware, if necessary
8. Copying or using other means to ensure data is not changed during the analysis
9. Recovering the target information and assessing the credibility and completeness of the data
10. Identifying and documenting any metadata associated with the files, such as date of creation, owner, etc
11. Documenting any other findings or discovered files or communications which may be relevant
12. Ensuring that all work is done in compliance with local and federal laws and forensic standards
13. Collecting the information in a legally admissible way
14. Providing an audit trail
15. Compiling and securing the evidence and writing structured reports acceptable for court
