1. Candidates with strong proficiency with JavaScript
2. Candidates with knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it (such as Express, StrongLoop, etc.)
3. Candidates with understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
4. Candidates with a good understanding of server-side templating languages (such as Jade, EJS, etc.)
5. Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors (such as Stylus, Less, etc.)
6. Candidates with a basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
7. Candidates with the understanding of accessibility and security compliance
8. Candidates with the knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
9. Candidates with the knowledge of integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
10. Candidates with the understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
11. Candidates with the understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
12. Candidates who have a proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
