Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Design and develop highly scalable, reliable and fault-tolerant systems
2. Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
3. Learn and experiment with new languages and technologies
4. Plan, prioritize, estimate
5. Communicate, collaborate and work effectively across distributed teams in a global environment
6. Pair with team members on functional and nonfunctional requirements and spread design philosophy and goals across the team
