About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Implementation of a robust set of services and APIs to power the web application
2. Building reusable code and libraries for future use
3. Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
4. Implementation of security and data protection
5. Translation of UI/UX wireframes to visual elements
6. Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application
7. Hybrid mobile app development (Ionic/Cordova)

Added requirements

1. Familiarity with API Creation, RESTful services and MEAN (MongoDB, Express.js, AngularJS, and Node.js) Stack

2. Knowledge of translation of designer mock-ups and wireframes into front-end code

3. A solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design

4. Knowledge of database administration and management of a hosting environment

5. Knowledge of unit testing with Karma

6. Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, ability to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image

7. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus
