1. Create new or improve existing REST API & GraphQL endpoints
2. Use various techniques to prepare the microservices for large-scale usage (up to thousands of requests/s)
3. Write code according to our best practices and define new best practices where applicable
4. Participate in deciding the technological stack and path of our APIs, microservices, and development practices
5. Track down complex bugs and implement fixes without regressions
6. Work on 3rd party API evaluation and integrations
Skills and other requirements:
1. Have an inclination for developing quality APIs
2. Have a good understanding of data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval
3. Knowledge of GraphQL, RabbitMQ, and Kafka is a plus
