About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Acquire data from various sources like tables, websites, map applications, documents
2. Digitize various data sources to create spatial data-sets
3. Create maps
4. Process and populate spatial and tabular data
5. Geo-reference and digitize information from scanned maps
6. Perform spatial analyses like intersect, buffer, remove duplicate geometries, calculate distance and area

Learn Revit

Learn AutoCAD 3D

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

4. have relevant skills and interests

Added requirements

1. Ability to create customized spatially enabled Python scripts, utilizing the QGIS module, pertaining to SOM based data production and management

2. Experience using tools such as QGIS Suite

3. Experience using GeoServer

4. Experience working in a multi-tiered development environment (i.e. development, testing, production)

5. Experience with GIS data creation and management

6. Experience in R and Python
