1. Understand the artwork brief and budget of the given project/assignment
2. Brief and work on design style, format, print production, and timescales
3. Develop innovative concepts, graphics, and layouts for company logo, production illustrations for print media i.e. product packaging, advertising material, magazines, display boards, catalogs/ brochures, leaflets, etc.
4. Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, font style & size
5. Prepare a rough draft of assignment based on an understanding of the requirements
6. Review the final layout and suggest improvements required if any
7. Coordinate with external vendors (printers) regularly to ensure the deadline and highest quality are met
8. Ensure completion of assignment from typesetting through to design, print & production independently
9. Work as part of a team along with copywriters, designers, executives, etc.
