The Subramaniam Academy of Performing Arts (SaPa), founded by violin icon Dr. L. Subramaniam and Bollywood playback legend Kavita Krishnamurti Subramaniam, headed by musicians Bindu and Ambi Subramaniam teaches world-class music to Indian and international students. 'SaPa in Schools' is an in-school music program that provides music education as part of the school curriculum.
SaPa currently operates in 7 centers in Bangalore, Chennai, and Mumbai and the SaPa in-school program is present in 80+ schools and has impacted 30,000 school children. Our mission is to create an ecosystem for music education in India and to teach art, not only for arts' sake, but also to promote a larger vision around how Indian and global music can be used to spread global cultural awareness, peace, and tolerance, and promote sustainable living.
