The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB) is one of the fifteen higher institutes of technology in the country set up with the objective of making facilities available for higher education, research, and training in various fields of science and technology. With the same mission and vision, Prof. Ganesh Ramakrishnan is gearing to take rural India a leap ahead. For his outstanding contributions, he has also been awarded the IBM Faculty Award 2011.
We have 2 on going projects-
Project 1 : Design of an Academic Review System.
Description: A structured feedback for online system can be created which helps reviewers to provide feedback to the student.
Project 2 : Development and Demonstration of Mobile based ICT Advisory to Farmers
Description: Our goal is to generate employment in village areas by helping the farmers with agricultural facilities by broadcasting/ receiving the message by leveraging the power of spoken voice, mobile phones and message.
Interns are expected to have excellent communication skills and must be able to plan,maintain and implement tasks related to the project.Interns are also expected to undertake the recruitment process for the project and must help to manage the HR process.
Only those candidates can apply who:
are available for full time (in-office) internship
can start the internship between 19th Feb'14 and 21st Mar'14
are available for duration of 6 months
have relevant skills and interests
Candidates are reuired to pay (as per the institute's norm), if they wish to get an accomodation on the campus.
