At RedCarpet, you will have an exciting role to be part of a venture funded startup. You will have the power and responsibility equal to a senior HR manager.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Answering employee questions
2. Processing incoming emails
3. Creating and distributing documents
4. Providing customer service to organization employees
5. Serving as a point of contact with benefit vendors/administrators
6. Maintaining computer system by updating and entering data
7. Setting appointments and arranging meetings
8. Maintaining calendars of HR management team
9. Participating in recruitment efforts
10. Posting job ads and organizing resumes and job applications
11. Scheduling job interviews and assisting in interview process
12. Collecting employment and tax information
13. Ensuring background and reference checks are completed
14. Preparing new employee files
15. Overseeing the completion of compensation and benefit documentation
16. Orienting new employees to the organization (setting up a designated log-in, email address, etc.)
17. Serving as a point person for all new employee questions
18. Office facilities management - making sure that all facilities are in working order. Co-ordinating with facilities vendors to fix equipment, maintenance, etc
