Organic Smokes is looking for a Human Resources (HR) Intern who is passionate about joining our team to help optimize and scale our HR functions. This intern will work closely with our HR team to support a variety of initiatives from onboarding of new hires, to the development and implementation of HR strategies.
The ideal candidate should be detail orientated, have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Additionally, candidates should possess a strong knowledge of English proficiency (both spoken and written), Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR Department and ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed
2. Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding processes
3. Support the new hire orientation, onboarding, and onboarding processes
4. Track, monitor, and update employee records
5. Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies
6. Support the creation of job descriptions and job postings
7. Assist in performance management activities and employee recognition processes
8. Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement activities
