1. Processing payroll by consolidating data calculation and entering of data
2. Updating payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles, and department/division transfers
3. Calculating perquisite, arrears & Investment declaration
4. Handling claims & reimbursement
5. Paying employees by directing the production and issuance of paychecks or electronic transfers to bank accounts
6. Ensuring the processing of new hires, temporary workers, transfers, promotions, and terminations is accurate and timely
7. Managing regular preparation of relevant management reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.)

1. Should have handled the following activities relating to statutory compliance, ETDS return & submission, deduction & remittance of income-tax, & issue of Form 16 and Filing of IT returns, deduction and remittance of PF, ESI & profession tax, filing of statutory returns periodically
