Industrial Mechanical Design Work From Home Part Time Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Use design inputs and data acquired, execute product development tasks as directed to achieve time-bound project goals
2. Construct parts using 3D CAD modeling, creating assemblies, and detailed drawings and sketches
3. Come up with creative solutions for internal product design and testing the design concepts by computerized modeling
4. Coordinate with engineering/design teams of collaborated companies, for execution and assistance with technology transfers and knowledge-gathering tasks
5. Work on ideas as part of a team for developing design concepts using CAD/CAE
6. Sketch drafts on paper or digitally (for example, using AutoCAD)
7. Produce detailed, final hand drawings and specifications or, more likely, using dedicated computer software (CAD) to produce a design
8. Identify the suitability and availability of materials. Researching materials, processes or market requirements
9. Work on the practical application of the subjects in mechanical engineering for consumer appliance product
