The intern would be required to work on time and materials contract for a period of 6 months during which the Intranet and knowledge management portal would be rolled out for all users. The intern is expected to develop the portal as per the requirements provided by Tata Trusts and provide handholding support to the members of the IT team.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Execute full-software development life cycle (SDLC)
2. Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
3. Write well-designed and testable code
4. Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
5. Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
6. Document and maintain software functionality
7. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
8. Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
9. Comply with project plans and industry standards
10. Ensure software is updated with the latest features
We are looking for people whi have completed their - BTech, BSC-IT, Diploma IT, M-Tech.

1. Should have the ability to develop software in Java, .NET, C++ or other programming languages
2. Should have excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2 and Hibernate)
3. Should have experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, or Spring MVC)
4. Should have proficiency in software engineering tools
5. Should have the ability to document requirements and specifications
6. Should be from B.E., B.Sc. in computer science, or equivalent or master in computer applications abckground
