A designer s day would include activities like designing, attending showroom walk-ins, making presentations, estimates, and drawings. They might have field visits for taking site measurements or to supervise installations.
Selected interns day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Attending potential customers in the showroom or place of business
2. Interacting with clients to understand their needs and desires and interpreting them into their custom modular kitchen design
3. Performing Home/Kitchen measurements of the customer's space
4. Making estimates and working drawings (3D, 2D, mock-ups, and renderings for clients)
5. Coordinating with the site supervisor to make sure the site is compatible as per pre-requisites for kitchen installation
6. Filling out paperwork with the customer to complete the purchase
7. Following up with the installation team to ensure the installation is done as intended and within the timelines
8. Attending field measure meetings and installations at customers place to install
Qualifications:
1. Should be comfortable with creating presentations, BOQs and production drawing
2. Hands-on with Kitchen designing using the software AutoCAD and SketchUp
Time Required:
1. Full-time
2. Business hours: 10:30 am to 7:30 pm
3. Monday to Saturday
