The Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) and the Viterbi School of Engineering, University of Southern California (USC) have partnered to support the IUSSTF-Viterbi Program. This program provides an opportunity for Indian students to undertake a research internship at the Viterbi School of Engineering in the summer of 2020.
About Indo-US Science And Technology Forum (IUSSTF)
The Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF), established under an agreement between the Governments of India and the United States of America in March 2000, is an autonomous, not for profit society that promotes and catalyzes Indo-US bilateral collaborations in science, technology, engineering and biomedical research through substantive interaction among government, academia and industry.
About the internship
The Program is envisaged to:

1. Provide an opportunity to the best and brightest Indian students to gain exposure and access to world class research facilities in the Viterbi School.
2. Promote research and capacity building in frontline areas of engineering and technology.
3. Encourage outstanding students to take up research as a career.
4. Pave the way for the next generation engineers from India to interact with American peers, thus help building long-term R&D linkages and collaborations.
Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. are available for duration of 2 months

3. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Indian students currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree at recognized institutions of higher education in India.

2. Open to students of Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering and Computational Sciences.
