INTERPOL offers a range of internships across both policing and support services. This is a great opportunity to get work experience in an international organization and understand how international police cooperation works.

Internships can be in our policing services for those of you who are interested in security and crime matters. We also offer internships across our support services, from communications and strategic planning to human resources.

The International Criminal Police Organization, more commonly known as INTERPOL, is an international organization that facilitates worldwide police cooperation and crime control.
About the Internship:
The role of the Communications Office is to promote the activities and messages of INTERPOL to our internal and external stakeholders worldwide and to encourage greater understanding of the Organization's mission to prevent and fight crime through enhanced cooperation and innovation on police and security matters.
The public website is the Organization's main online presence and showcases our activities to the world. The Communications Office is building a new public website and is offering an internship opportunity to join the website team. Throughout this internship, the selected applicant's role will be to support this important project by:

1. Research stories about the projects and activities of the different units at INTERPOL;
2. Prepare text and multimedia content about these activities;
3. Publish content (text, photos, documents) to the Intranet using the EzPublish software, in
three languages (English, French, Spanish);
4. Analyse the impact of these communications and suggest ways to improve it;
5. Giving general assistance to the Communications Office (editorial, multimedia, web, design, print);
6. Carrying out any other duty assigned by the supervisor.
Who can apply:
Only those candidates can apply who:
  1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
  2. are available for duration of 6 months
  3. have relevant skills and interests
Other requirements:
  1. Be a national of one of INTERPOL's 194 member states
  2. Have attained the legal age of majority in their country of nationality
  3. Be enrolled in an, or have graduated from, an accredited academic institution (general first degree in Communications or related studies) within the past one year on the date of submission of their application
  4. Fluency in English is required as well as a good command of French
  5. Knowledge of any other INTERPOL official working language (Arabic or Spanish) is beneficial
