UN Women, Delhi, monitoring & Evaluation unit is inviting applications from Masters students. The period of internship is 6 weeks to 6 months.

About the Internship:

The Monitoring & Evaluation Analyst will be responsible for the overall learning of the intern. Some of the areas where the capacities of the intern will be enhanced during the internship will be:



  1. The intern will get hands-on experience in learning about monitoring and evaluation function in a large UN agency. 

  2. Close interaction with programme unit will contribute to her/his learning on gender issues in 4 countries and the development agenda from a gender perspective.

  3. The intern will also refine and strengthen her/his quantitative and qualitative research skills in this internship by applying scientific research tools to review and analyze evaluation reports.

Who can apply:
Only those candidates can apply who:
  1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
  2. are available for duration of 6 weeks (preferred, not mandatory)
  3. are pursuing any degree but have relevant skills and interest
  4. are currently in any year of study or are recent graduates
Other requirements:
  1. Applicants must be enrolled in a post-graduate level degree programme. Only those students who will return to their studies upon completion of their internship assignments will be eligible. The students must be masters students not undergraduates. The only exception for undergraduates is if they are enrolled in a masters’ programme.

  • Timing for internships is flexible and can be at any time in the year. 

  • Proof of medical coverage, passport/visa/work permits must be provided for the file before the internship commences.
