Inventory Management Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Place requests for proposals as per the bill of quantities from vendors
2. Finalize rates by management
3. Prepare purchase orders while taking due care of duties and taxes during imports
4. Issue POs as per BOQ after management approval
5. Coordinate with the application team for delivery schedule requirements while they are at the client site
6. Follow up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates
7. Inspect products received for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to specifications
8. Check the invoice against the PO
9. Conduct regular audits of inventory
10. Maintain files with descriptions of available suppliers and materials
11. Maintain a database of materials with updated prices and technical specifications
12. Manage the inventory room
13. Check the stock sheet and PO
14. Get quotes from different vendors to analyse cost efficiency
15. Coordinate with the accounts department for purchase-related payments and orders of any
