IP & Legal Research Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Conduct research on intellectual property laws, regulations, and legal precedents related to patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets
2. Assist in analyzing and summarizing IP-related documents, including patent filings, trademark applications, and licensing agreements
3. Support the legal team in preparing legal briefs, memos, and other written materials pertaining to intellectual property matters
4. Stay updated on changes in intellectual property laws and legal developments relevant to our organization's industry and IP assets
5. Assist in conducting trademark searches and patent prior art searches to assess the availability and uniqueness of IP assets
6. Collaborate with the legal team to evaluate and assess potential intellectual property infringement risks and provide recommendations
7. Support the organization and maintenance of intellectual property records, including patent and trademark portfolios
8. Assist in legal due diligence activities related to IP, including reviewing IP-related agreements and identifying potential legal issues
9. Participate in legal team meetings and provide input on IP research findings and analysis
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of IP research processes and resources
