IT Support Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of an organization
2. Install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware and software faults, solve technical and applications problems
3. Talk to staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
4. Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware or software faults
5. Replace parts as required and provide support
6. Support the roll-out of new applications
7. Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
8. Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals
9. Test and evaluate new technology
10. Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment
