Java Development Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Manage team task sheets, coordinate with the team, bug tracking as directed
2. Assist manager in the creation and execution of project work plans and track changes and change requests and team technical and administrative tasks
3. Update daily reports and information/data verification
4. Track backup-up and verify backed-up data
5. Learn and update project and task management tools, create and update dashboards
6. Investigate and try the alternative: new open source technologies
7. Create technical documentation, presentations, and flow-charts, learn and maintain version control processes
8. Write Java programs, conversion to SQL stored procedures, and triggers
9. Create reports and forms using specified tools
10. Test outputs for the fulfillment of standards and customer requirements
11. Participate in design reviews under the direction of senior developers
12. Work on Java and SQL programming - code modules and queries
13. Write algorithms and offline code processing modules for images, big data, and sensor data
14. Work on geospatial maps and programs - analyses, update data
15. Work on the installation, testing, and deployment of the company s standard OS, packages, and tools on designated hardware platforms
16. Handle cloud servers management and monitoring
