Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on writing and assembling news stories that will interest the audience
2. Work on gathering together several different sources and ensuring that all the arguments are represented, and keeping the audience abreast of events in their world
3. Work on broadcasting news and welcoming viewers to a daily television news show, informing the public of the top news of the day, introducing live or taped news reports and managing the viewer experience until the end of the broadcast
