1. As a part of our nationwide access to justice campaign called 'Indian Mediation Week' (IMW), we receive complaints from all across the country, so receive these calls and note down the details of the complaint
2. Handle the social media marketing of IMW by making frequent posts as directed
3. Coordinate with the student ambassador, partners of IMW such as law firms, alternative dispute resolution (ADR) centers over emails and phone calls
What would intern learn in this internship?
The nationwide mediation awareness campaign run by OdrWays and National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, called Indian Mediation Week, aims to change the way people resolve disputes in India. The theme is "Suljhao, Magar Pyaar Se" and has received support from Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India, Supreme Court Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee, Salman Khurshid, Former Law Minister of India, Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar etc. Being a part of this campaign gives you first-hand dispute resolution experience. OdrWays is recognized in the top ADR centers by Union Ministry of Law and Justice and has 80 mediators in 23 cities across India. You will get to interact/network with lawyers, mediators, arbitrators etc.
Who can apply
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 9th Oct'19 and 8th Nov'19
3. are available for duration of 2 months
