The All India Law Students Collective for Environmental Law is a pan-India collaborative effort among legal professionals to engage in collective, bottom-up, and communitarian environmental action and advocacy in 'environmentally challenged' regions. It aims to take a rational, intellectual, academic, and policy-focused approach towards protecting and preserving the ecological heritage of the nation, but without compromising on indigenous skills and participation.
AILSCEL aims to achieve these goals through the multi-pronged approaches of local human resource provision, development, and augmentation, policy research and advocacy, public interest litigation, public outreach and awareness, collective action and coordination, as well as judicio-legislative reform movements.
