Logistics And Operations Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist in coordinating and tracking shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery
2. Collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to schedule pickups and deliveries
3. Help monitor transportation costs and analyze freight rates to identify cost-saving opportunities
4. Maintain accurate records of shipping documents, such as bills of lading and delivery receipts
5. Assist in organizing and optimizing warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods
6. Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts and stock reconciliations
7. Help in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency
8. Support the logistics team in managing relationships with logistics service providers and suppliers
9. Help resolve logistics-related issues or delays, coordinating with internal teams and external partners as needed
10. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to optimize the overall supply chain

Requirements:

1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
2. Familiarity with logistics and supply chain concepts is a plus
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software for data analysis and reporting
