1. Knowledge and experience of Python are a must
2. Good presentation and writing skills
3. Experience with basic libraries for machine learning such as Pandas, NumPy, and ScikitLearn
4. Proficiency with a deep learning framework such as TensorFlow, Pytorch, and Keras
5. Proficiency with NLP models, specifically attention models in sequence classification, text segmentation, and sentence tagging
6. Competence in writing clear, optimized, and necessary code
7. Ability to understand research papers and write code according to that
