About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Monitor social media sites and website in coordination with IT person
2. Develop and implement communications and marketing strategy
3. Develop and execute media strategy across all media, including press, broadcast, and publications
4. Handle copy-writing and production of key
5. Work on collaterals, presentations, newsletters and other publications including the annual report
6. Research and write copy for external articles and press
7. Collate information and feedback on the organization s activities and personal stories/case studies as well
8. Develop publicity materials (printed and email format) for the organization's activities
9. Ensure that marketing and communications collaterals are cohesive and coordinated across the organization
10. Carry out other general communications and marketing tasks that may arise in regard to fundraising, events, etc.
11. Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budget etc.
12. Organize, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings
13. Provide administrative support as needed
14. Chair and facilitate meetings
15. Coordinate and liaison with local PRIs, government officials, district officials for obtaining required support considering the costs of planned programs and keeping within budgets
