Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline production workflows and optimize manufacturing processes.
2. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
3. Assist in the design and development of new manufacturing systems and equipment to improve efficiency and productivity.
4. Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to increase throughput.
6. Participate in cost-reduction activities by identifying opportunities to minimize waste and improve resource utilization.
7. Assist in the documentation of manufacturing procedures and create work instructions to ensure process consistency.
