Market Research Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Demonstrating products and services as deemed necessary by clients and management
2. Scheduling appointments and meetings as necessary
3. Answering questions from clients
4. Making product knowledge readily available to self and other salespeople through various resources
5. Finding ways to sell products in the face of a down market
6. Researching client base to find new types of customers and selling to them accordingly
7. Creating a plan for gaining customers and then retaining them based on warranties or guarantees
8. Analyzing the competition and creating a plan for engaging the target market
9. Setting up booths at trade shows and demonstrating the quality or uses of a product
10. Making product appeal to the target market
11. Training other salespeople in the art of selling
12. Making sure that all salespeople meet the quota during a given period
