Greenitio is looking for a computational researcher to work on a multidisciplinary project. This will be a scientific position initially for 2 years with the possibility of further extension based on the performance and mutual understanding.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work with the Greenition team of MD simulation to help develop a computational model for (bio)macromolecules, (bio)polymeric systems
2. Collaborate on cloud computing environments like AWS, Google Collab, etc. to perform the exercise.
3. Perform MD simulation (e.g., all-atom, generic models) using LAMMPS or GROMACS software
4. Report regularly

1. Must have a Ph.D. degree in computational physics or chemistry
2. Must have extensive working experience in classical molecular dynamics (MD) simulations using standard packages, such as LAMMPS or GROMACS
3. Must be skilled in modeling and simulation of soft materials, especially (bio)macromolecules, (bio)polymeric systems, and organic materials
4. Must be knowledgeable in or willing to learn coarse-graining (CG) methods in combination with different MD simulations (e.g., all-atom, generic models) to carry out multiscale simulations
5. Must have experience with working in a Linux/UNIX software environment, with some knowledge of scripting and programming (e.g., Python, C, C++, Bash)
6. Must be willing to work remotely if needed
Greenitio is a Singapore-based climate tech startup that develops functional biopolymer ingredients to substitute intentionally added microplastics and non-renewable polymers in consumer products (cosmetics, personal care, home care, nutraceutical, etc.). We are creating unique biomolecules that aim to exhibit comparable performance and provide similar functionalities to petroleum-derived materials minus pollution.
