About the Internship:
Are you excited to work in a world-class research organization to solve challenging engineering problems?

The intern will work on an exciting project at a reputed research lab working on the development of a high-energy particle detector. Specifically, the intern will work on designing and developing 3D models for various components of the high-energy particle detector. In this highly complex project (worth over $200million), tight space constraints, very delicate detector elements (to keep the mass down) and working in a vacuum create unusual mechanical engineering problems that need careful analysis and novel approaches. If you have expertise in CAD, past experience designing and building complex devices, and are eager to take on something truly challenging, this opportunity is for you.
