Mechanical Engineering Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Verify mechanical requirements at component and assembly level
2. Handle the development of design documentation (3D models, 2D drawings, ME/EE interface, DFMEA)
3. Work on the optimization of design for cost, manufacturability, and quality
4. Involve in R&D, defense, and robotics
5. Handle the component design, including sheet metal and small machined parts
6. Collaborate with the electronics engineering team to design, implement and test platforms to integrate into a larger system
7. Run 3D printers for prototyping
8. Own the complete product development process from ideation to prototyping
9. Plan and execute mechanical designs using SolidWorks/Fusion 360
