1. Carry out detailed mechanical design work including simulation and design verification testing, documentation as required
2. Design and develop subsystems using software like SolidWorks, Creo, etc.
3. Update designs based on simulation and test results
4. Undertake rigorous testing to improve the product for its performance, efficiency, safety, and convenience
5. Create and maintain engineering documentation relating to product specification, design, development, prototyping, testing, verification, and validation
6. assist in assembly and field testing
7. Coordinate and work closely with vendors for manufacturing, sourcing components and material according to the project requirements
8. Independently manage manufacturing with vendors of the materials depending on the product requirement (viz., CNC/VMC cutting, Laserjet cutting, Waterjet cutting, etc.)
