About part time job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Generate positive news coverage, achieving free product placement in broadcast, print and new media, and placing spokespeople as commentators
2. Liaise with clients and the media daily, often via telephone and email
3. Build strong relationships and networks with colleagues, clients, and the media
4. Monitor the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites, and blogs, for opportunities for clients
5. Work as part of an account team to develop client proposals and implement the PR activity
6. Prepare regular client reports and attend client meetings
7. Research, write and distribute press releases to targeted media
8. Promote news stories and features to the media, known as 'selling in'
9. Collate, analyze and evaluate media coverage
10. Manage events, including press conferences and promotional events
11. Attend and promote client events to the media
12. Assist with the production of client publications, such as in-house magazines
13. Commission market research
14. Coordinate studio or location photography
15. Undertake research for new business proposals and present them to potential new clients
16. Manage the PR aspect of a possible crisis situation
